Tournament Rules

All teams will play four ( 4 ) games
-
Florida High School Baseball Rules will be enforced
-
$5 gate admission fee per game or $20 all week pass is required ( Spectators Only )
-
Absolutely no alcoholic beverages or coolers allowed in complex
-
Games will be seven ( 7 ) innings in length
-
Full Uniforms must we worn on field by player and coaches and no jewelry will be allowed during games
-
Games Balls are provided but you must PLEASE have your players chase foul balls
-
No soft toss into fences. Battings Cages are available for your use before the game
-
Lineup must be turned in before game to umpires, field scorekeeper and opposing team
-
Home team is determined by coin flip before the game
-
Pregame is allowed if time permits. 10 minutes before start of game
-
If a team is losing by 10 or more runs after having batted in at least five innings, the game is ended
-
No pitching limits, use good judgment
-
EH ( Extra Hitter ) is not allowed in your lineup, You can pinch hit for your pitcher, Only 9 players hit

Courtesy Runner for both pitcher and the catcher may be used at any time. Courtesy runner has to be someone not presently in the lineup. The same player cannot run for both the pitcher and the catcher in the same inning.

Must slide rule apply in all bases – No Trucking allowed

Regulation High School Aluminum Bats allowed only

Hockey style catcher’s mask only permitted

Clean your dugout immediately after your game is complete

Home team will be the official scorekeeper and scores must be reported to tournament director after each game

Seeding is determined by ( 1 ) Win / Loss Record ( 2 ) Head to Head ( 3 ) Runs Allowed ( 4 ) Runs Scored ( 5 ) Coin Toss

Any Participant (Player, Coach, Spectator, etc...) ejected from the game shall have the circumstance of his/her ejection reviewed by the Tournament Director, Athletic Director and Chief Umpire. A decision will then be made of the penalty. Minimum penalty one game suspension with maximum penalties of complete suspension of the tournament all together. ZERO TOLERANCE RULE FOR DISRUPTIVE PLAYERS, COACHES OR SPECTATORS. Florida High School Baseball penalties will be enforced.

From Florida turnpike north head south on Florida turnpike and exit Bird Rd (SW 40th St), make a left (east) and continue to SW 92nd Ave, make a left (north) and continue to SW 32nd ST, make a right (east) and continue to last entrance on left before traffic light (SW 87th Ave) and enter Christopher Columbus High School, continue inside and make a left (west) go past the gates and follow the road all the way to the back. Parking on right side.
From Palmetto Expressway (SR 826)
Head south on Palmetto Xway and exit Coral Way ( SW 24th ST ), make a right (west) and continue to SW 87th Ave, make a left (south) and continue ¼ mile to 3000 SW 87th Ave – Christopher Columbus High School on right (Past St. Brendan High School) enter school and follow the road all the way back. Parking on right side.
From Interstate I-95
Head south on I-95 and exit SR 836 West (Dolphin Expressway), continue on SR 836 West to SR 826 South (Palmetto Expressway), continue on SR 826 South and exit on Coral Way (SW 24th ST), make a right (west) and continue to SW 87th Ave, make a left (south) and continue ¼ mile to 3000 SW 87th Ave – Christopher Columbus High School on right (Past St. Brendan High School) enter school and follow the road all the way back.
