WEBBALL 2008

In order to gain the quality of instruction and maintain the dominance of Columbus Baseball, Webball for 2008 has changed it format.

New Format:  TRYOUTS

Advanced Camp:

 Top 80 players by ability.

                      Monday – Friday 3:00-6:00 PM Some games on Saturday.

18 game schedule plus 1 team will chosen to compete in the Junior Olympic Tournament (16 and Under) and Underarmor (18 and Under) for and added fee of $150

Camp will run May 27, 2008 -  July 18, 2008
No Camp on May 26th & July 4th

Cost: $ 550

Developmental Camp:

Anyone not selected to the advanced camp.

The Developmental camp will workout at Columbus HS Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM-12:00 Noon, and will scrimmage each other during the week at Columbus high School

Camp will run June 2, 2008 thru June 27, 2008

Cost: $ 600

TRYOUT DATES:

Age 15 and UP:      Monday, May 19, 2008 at 3:30 at Columbus HS

Age 13 and 14:       Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 3:30 at Columbus HS

 

Registration: There is no Pre registration. At the end of each tryout players will be told if they have been chosen for the Advanced Camp or the Developmental Camp. Parents must sign up and pay that day. No Spots will be saved for lack of payment or partial payment. If a player does not sign up that day his spot will be given to the next best available player based on ability not age. Players may be brought up during the year from the Developmental Camp to the Advanced Camp due to injuries or vacations.

At registration Cash or Check only will be accepted. NO CREDITS CARDS.

It is my hope by breaking the camp in two, that each player will receive better instruction and become a better ball player at the end of the camp.
